Re-entering descriptions, dimensions, materials and other attributes individually in JTL-Wawi can take days or weeks for large catalogs. Structured preparation reduces repetitive work without promising automatic equivalence for every Amazon field.

Example: material, dimensions, and color
An Amazon listing may contain stainless steel as material, 30 cm as length, and silver as color. Depending on the target catalog, these values may become JTL attributes, product features, or variation values.
Attributes, features, and variations
Attributes can hold supplementary product information; features can support classification and storefront filters; variations identify purchasable options. The correct mapping depends on your JTL setup.
Quality matters more than column count
Empty fields, inconsistent units, duplicate values, and Amazon-specific field names require review. WDEPOS structures existing information; it cannot reliably recreate data absent from the source.
JTL-Ameise import workflow
The result is prepared import files, followed by field mapping and a test import in JTL-Ameise. No direct write access to the JTL-Wawi database is required.

How WDEPOS works
1. Request your Amazon data
Obtain Category Listings Reports (reverse feeds) through Seller Central or Amazon support, where available.
2. Analyze the files
We check product completeness, images, variants, attributes and features.
3. Prepare the JTL import
We structure the existing data for import through JTL-Ameise.
4. Validate before syncing
Review data and parent-child relationships before the first Amazon synchronization.
Local product management
Build a reusable local structure for products, images and variations. Generating new Amazon flat files from locally maintained data is planned, not yet available.
From Amazon to multichannel commerce
JTL-Wawi can serve as the hub for other marketplaces and your own JTL-Shop. Availability and costs depend on the respective integrations. WDEPOS prepares the initial product data; it does not connect marketplaces itself.
